A small town outside Naples, Italy is the inspiration behind Luciano and Gennaro's story. The Centofanti brother's motivation stems from their mother, Lina, a beautiful and entrepreneurial spirit who operated a trattoria in Italy. Growing up, the young men worked by their mother's side, learning valuable skills they would later implement in operating a successful restaurant business. Perhaps, even more importantly, they learned the creativity involved in preparing the most delectable specialties, only to include the finest ingredients straight from the heart of Italy, rousing the palates of patrons throughout the world.

Since its inception in 1971, Luciano and Gennaro opened their first store to reflect what would become a sequence of successful and extraordinary full-service restaurants and mall food locations.

Their invaluable leadership and unique concepts for design, fulfilled both a dream and a niche:
